Jack-o-lantern Prototype

Wow, two posts in one day. I guess I’m starting to get back into the swing of it. Lol, about time, huh? Anyway, here’s the aforementioned jack-o-lantern. Once again, comments – good or bad – are welcome. I hope to make more of these for Artist Market and the Art Show I will hopefully be doing in Oct.

Helium 8/23 – 8/27

I only have three articles from last week because, once again, I had a lot to do. This week won’t be any better because of Dragon*Con, but who cares? I mean, it’s Dragon*Con. So, for your reading pleasure.

Pumpkin Prototype

This is something new. I’m sure I’m not the only one ever to crochet a pumpkin, but this is my own pattern and the leaves and stem are all hand cut out and sewn. Mid-September I’m going to start going down to the Artist’s Market at the Flying Monkey on Saturdays and I’m hoping to do a show in Oct. in downtown Huntsville on the Square. My plan is to make these in various colors and I want to do a couple with jack-o-lantern faces for Halloween.

If anyone would like to give me feedback on these, I would appreciate it.

Articles from 8/16-8/22

I’m still writing away. There’s not as many articles this week because I had the Sidewalk Art Stroll (it went great, btw!) on Thurs. and I also had to finish up my new outline for the first book of When Came the Fall, so I can start on the second draft. That will begin tomorrow. So much to do, so little time. I think I need 30 hour days! Anyway, hope you find something you like.

Last Week

I know, I’ve been a bad blogger. Things always seem to get in the way and there is so much going on that sitting down to type up a blog post is way down on the list. So, it is my intent to try and rework things so I can be a good blogger, even with everything going on. I have started some freelance writing on Helium.com and instead of bombarding people with what I write everyday on my facebook, I thought I’d do a single blog post every week with the previous weeks articles. Hopefully, this will get me back in the habit of blogging as I try to weave into my life the different paths I would like to take.

So, to start.
